TIPS: When searching in the Online Catalog, use the Exact Search option to find items you know you need: specific books by title or author name, for example.
To search for items about an author, do a subject search for the author's name.

Book reviews can be a great source of information. They can provide quick summaries of dense critical texts, they can hint at a books critical slant, and they might even provide information on similar books in the field. The following databases can be searched specifically for book reviews:
