Campus Remote Orientation Guide

Here you can find all you need to know about what returning to SNHU will look like in a virtual environment

Student Clubs

Will clubs still meet?

We know that the decision for the University to be virtual this fall carries with it a lot of different emotions and may be overwhelming to some. We want you to know that SNHU wouldn't be the place that we know and love without our clubs and organizations, as well as our students,.  All clubs will continue to exist, but in a remote environment for the fall semester. While the Student Activity Fee is not being charged this semester, clubs will still have funding for events and programs and will be expected to keep running. Be on the lookout for information on a virtual Involvement Fair in September where you can learn more about clubs to join, or visit the Student Involvement page of mySNHU This link opens in a new window for more information on clubs and getting involved.

Events

Will there be online events and activities?

Yes! Although we won’t be on campus in person this fall, campus offices and clubs will be working hard to create virtual engagement opportunities including events, meet-and-greets, and more. There will also be a virtual Involvement Fair held in early September, which will be an opportunity to connect with many areas of campus. To stay connected and learn more about Student Involvement at SNHU, check out the Facebook page This link opens in a new window, or find @snhuinvolvement on Twitter and Instagram. Also, visit the SNHU Events Calendar This link opens in a new window to see what exciting virtual events are available to you!

Athletics

Will our varsity athletes compete this fall semester?

No. The Northeast-10 Conference made the decision to suspend all NE10-sponsored competition and championships through December 31.

Will SNHU offer any intramural/club sports/fitness opportunities?

During our remote semester, our Athletics team will offer a variety of opportunities to get involved in fun and competition. Trivia nights, eSports tournaments, trick shot competitions, weekly workouts, virtual 5Ks, and a coach to 5K program – check out the events calendar This link opens in a new window and also follow Athletics on social media to learn how to stay connected and have some fun.

Campus

Is campus open at all – for study space, hangouts, Dining Center, Bookstore, or housing?

Campus – including all common spaces – will remain closed to students, staff, and faculty for the fall. We are all working virtually together!
