- Government Accounting Standards Board (GASB) This link opens in a new windowIndependent organization that establishes accounting and financial reporting standards for state and local governments in the United States. The website provides free access to the GASB Statements, Interpretations and Technical Bulletins. Shapiro Library has purchased the latest bound paper edition of the GASB Codification and Pronouncements.
