Institutional Review Board
All research involving human subjects, whether conducted by internal or external researchers must be approved by SNHU IRB prior to the recruitment of any SNHU student, faculty, staff, or alumni. The external researcher must identify a regular, full-time SNHU employee willing to serve as a SNHU liaison for the entire research period and to assist in facilitating the application process.
Scholarly Communication & Publishing
Participating in your discipline’s scholarly conversation requires publishing. The digital age has expanded publishing well beyond the traditional print books and journal articles into a wide-open sea of opportunities. The Shapiro Library has created a Scholarly Communication & Publishing Guide with information addressing the complex question, "How Do I Publish?" which includes step-by-step guidelines, curated information about open access publishing, negotiating publisher contracts while contributing to the SNHU Academic Archive, and the complexities of scholarly publication in all its formats.
