Useful for: Political and Economic Profile, Legal and Regulatory Profile, Monetary Considerations, and Mode of Entry Considerations

GlobalData Explorer is a data analytics and consulting company that provides analyst reports on companies, industries, countries, and more. You will want to consult both Country Profile and Industry Profile reports while developing your Business Brief.

Country Profiles

On the main GlobalData Explorer page, click on the "Explorer" icon under Cross Industry Intelligence Center.  Then, select "Countries" from the menu options across the top of the page and search for your selected country by name  (Note that the Republic of Korea is listed under South Korea). Look for the appropriate Country Analysis Report. These reports are organized using a PESTLE (sometimes just PEST for smaller countries) analysis. This stands for the Political, Economic, Social, Technical, Legal, and Environmental landscape in your selected country. The reports are lengthy PDF files. You can use the table of contents to navigate or use the "find" feature of your PDF reader to search for keywords.

Industry Profiles

On the main GlobalData Explorer page, click on the "Explorer" icon under Cross Industry Intelligence Center.  Then, select "Reports" from the menu options across the top of the page, and then "Industry Profiles" under the Key Report Types. You can search for an industry or for your selected country by name (Note that the Republic of Korea is listed under South Korea) and Sports Equipment (ie: Spain sports equipment). 

Look for the appropriate Industry Report. The reports are lengthy PDF files. You can use the table of contents to navigate or use the "find" feature of your PDF reader to search for keywords. Focus on the "New entrants" section for information on modes of entry.
