The Academic Search Ultimate database has high quality, multi-disciplinary content, including scholarly journals, periodicals, reports, books, and more. Academic Search Complete can be found on the A - Z Database List from our library homepage. Once you are on the A-Z Database List, look to the A-Z letters that run across the middle of the page and click on the letter "A" that will show the list of all our databases beginning with the letter "A". You will find Academic Search Ultimate listed here.

Academic Search Ultimate supports topics in STEM research, as well as the humanities, social sciences, psychology, economic development and other general interest subjects.

Searching in Academic Search Ultimate


Academic Search Ultimate is best searched using keyword searching. For more tips on keyword searching, see the Choosing Your Keywords page on this guide, or check out our Search Tips page.

Academic Search Ultimate also has filters that you can use to refine your search results. After running a search, look to the left side of the page to the "Refine Results" column. You can check off the "Peer Reviewed" check box to limit your search results to scholarly articles. You can set the "Publication Date" option to a date range of your choosing in order to limit to current articles. You can also refine your results by source type, subject, and more!
