Welcome to the Off-Campus Library and Interlibrary Loan Services Guide!
What are Off-Campus Library Services?
Off-Campus Library Services (OCLS) exist to make it easier for students, faculty, and staff to utilize a variety of library services that are located on campus and online. These services include:
- Access to the library's 270 databases
- Ability to borrow and utilize print books, audiobooks, and DVDs from the library's physical collection by having them mailed to you
- Use of the library's 24/7 Reference services (see: Research Help tab)
What is Interlibrary Loan?
Interlibrary loan (ILL) is a free cooperative service between libraries that provides all current SNHU students, staff, faculty, and emeritus faculty access to articles, books, and other materials that are not available through Shapiro Library. With this service, you will have the ability to:
- Request a print journal to be scanned and emailed to you
- Request articles and books through Interlibrary Loan Services
For more information about each of these services, check out the blue tabs on the left-hand side of this guide!
