Combined URL and DOI Link Generator
We've integrated the Athenized URL generator with the DOI generator to streamline the process of converting both types of links for accessing library resources using OpenAthens. Follow these steps to use the combined generator:
How to Use the Combined URL and DOI Generator
- Enter the Link or DOI
- Paste any URL or DOI that needs to be Athenized or de-proxied into the generator box.
- Automatic Conversion
- The generator will automatically process the URL by removing the EZproxy prefix, replacing dashes with periods, and applying specific exceptions required for Athenization.
- For DOIs, the generator will prepend the necessary DOI prefix and Athenize the link.
- Get the Athenized Link

The output will be a new URL ready for use with OpenAthens. Copy this link and use it to access the desired resource seamlessly.
