The following resources are places you can search for data that can be used to manipulate and analyze for practice or general interest. Not sure where to start? Check out Sage Data's basic information below:

However, an entire world of data can be very overwhelming to navigate and understand if you are exploring it for the first time. Never fear! As a student, there are a few approaches you can take to identify sources that provide the data you need.
- SAGE Data This link opens in a new windowProvides access to more than 18.9 billion data points from more than 70 source organizations.
- Statista This link opens in a new windowStatista is one of the leading statistics companies on the internet. With a team of over 200 statisticians, database experts, analysts, and editors, Statista provides users with an innovative and intuitive tool for researching quantitative data, statistics and related information.
- MarketLine (Explorer) This link opens in a new windowQuality business reports including company profiles, market reports, industry outlooks and country economic and demographic conditions. To access data click "Explorer" under Cross Industry Intelligence Center.
- The home of the U.S. Government's open dataHere you will find data, tools, and resources to conduct research, develop web and mobile applications, design data visualizations, and more.
- United States Census Bureau DatasetsMany different datasets by topic such as business and economy, employment, government, health, housing and more.
- IEEE DataPort Open Access Data setsIEEE DataPort contains some open access data sets related to a variety of science topics. Use the search box to type in a keyword and limit your results to the open access datasets.
- ICPSRThe Inter-university Consortium for Political and Social Research is a long-standing archive of over 500,000 social science data sets. Topic classifications include Healthcare and Facilities.
- Google Research DatasetsIn order to contribute to the broader research community, Google periodically releases data of interest to researchers in a wide range of computer science disciplines.
- PDS Planetary Data System NASAAdvanced, focused search tools are available from several PDS discipline nodes. We'll help you get to the ones best suited for your needs. If you don't see the desired mission or target, contact your PDS node or the PDS Operator at pds_operator@jpl.nasa.gov.
- Registry of Open Data on AWSThis registry exists to help people discover and share datasets that are available via AWS resources. Learn more about sharing data on AWS.
