How do I search for resources?

Searching for resources can feel like a daunting undertaking. There are billions of information pieces out there in a variety of formats, both analog and digital. Where do you start, and how do you go about finding what you need?

It can help to understand what resources are and where they tend to live, and to develop a simple strategy for approaching the research process. In this module, there are three sections to help you do just that:

Understanding Sources and Their Contributions

  • Identify why certain sources are relevant to a line of inquiry

Exploring Tools to Locate Information
