Months After an Event


In the months after an event, we begin to see sources authored by academics and researchers. These sources take longer to produce because of the in-depth research and editorial process required (in some cases peer review). These sources try to better understand the event or factors that lead to it. They may compare the event to other similar events, or try to better understand why it happened.
